if you're not where you want to be as an artist or entertainer and didn't come from money or an industry family try to remember that it was never an even playing field to begin with and you're probably doing great considering

I'm getting stuff printed for some shows coming up, but partially I know I need to go back into that house to get something and a solid close-quarters scare awaits. every day I don't play the tension builds. this is how horror games scare differently than any other media

in Silent Hill F I was in a building and saw a dead monster in a room. when I came back to that room the monster was gone and I haven't picked up the game since. that's a good horror game right there

- We need cheaper printed black and white comics for the love of god
- Comics for adults could do crazy numbers if they actually had support, pubs are leaving money on the table
- Prose authors shouldn't be hired to write comics based on prose chops alone
- Cartoonists should be paid 700x more

at the same time, I have lived through many uprisings, protests, and seen how democrats in power deploy the national guard and the first black president traffic in anti-black stereotypes.
anti-blackness is part of America's identity so of course it's bipartisan

an effort to treat the major cities as places that need to be occupied with our bored war machine. a place already colonized, colonized as performance. you call a city bad, occupy it, then say it's safe. what reactiontary, small business owner or VC, would move there? it's why I think it will fail

the gov't saying "democrat-run" but these are purposely majority black cities being singled out. a reactionary American's dream of a city = black = crime = city, etc. the loop feeds itself
