I was for some reason thinking about this earlier despite being from the UK. I think the preconception is from wealthy people is that they will be "paying for the poor" but actually the overheads, profits, and middle-men in private healthcare actually means the wealthy would be paying less.

When I was involved in uni Cons stuff, the BBC were sniffing around for what became a documentary "Young, Bright and on the Right". The only people who had the self-awareness to not come off terribly also had the awareness to know they would get stitched up, so only the weirdest got involved.

i’ve seen enough. and by that i mean lots of evidence. If you’re running an account that uses phrases like “antifascist,” or anything in the vicinity, the FBI, the NYPD, it doesn’t really matter, it’s all the same thing now, you’re on a watchlist.

I have hypothyroidism. I get free prescriptions because of this in England. Chronic asthmatics do not. I have always found that weird.

I think Labour should consider free flu jabs too for everyone.

Time to start acting more like Beveridge and less like a bunch of xenophobic accounts.
