You've got quite a few non MAGA accounts on the MAGA block list rn. People who have explicitly stated they are NOT fans of Trump and post critical things about MAGA. Out of the first 25 on the blocklist, I'd say more than half are anti-Trump profiles and are prob unaware they are being mass blocked

honestly i'm kind of in awe at this company ngl

like in any other country remodeling the symbol of the nation that is owned by the country would be a multiyear effort with massive research and contingency plans and remediations and etc

and these mad lads just let jimmy go nuts with a backhoe
Oh boy, the Daily Heil has got this in its sights, eh? Very balanced coverage from them, no doubt (actually, nope, no it won't be).

Looking to connect with a Canadian health reporter.

Several provinces, are no longer offering the COVID vaccine to kids under 12.

This decision needs public attention. DM if you're interested in covering the story. #cdnpoli #covid19 #healthnews
Honestly made us want to immediately book trips to Scotland and various Scandinavian countries mid-show based on his descriptions. He could sell anything.
A total treat of a series. These absolutely gorgeous train journeys- scenery, local interest, oddball train enthusiasts nattering about history, all with Bill Nighy's louche descriptions of luxury service, food, the scenery, etc. It's wonderful.
We once found a tv series called "World's Most Scenic Train Journeys" that he narrated and it was an absolute delight!

Hey Bluesky followers who think that local gov't should do things to make the city better, like vote FOR affordable housing, FOR active transportation, FOR renter protections etc: come to a little fundraiser on Thursday & meet some like-minded #NewWest folks! www.communityfirstnw.ca/burgers_beve...

It must be exhausting to have to deal with this day in, day out. Looking forward to addressing this with the first person from that bunch who dares call me.
Loudest voice in the room, etc, etc.
Ginning up support for a run at the mayor's seat apparently requires both overt and sly attacks and a tenuous connection to the truth.
Happy to pay a higher rate of taxes for quality municipal services and to future proof the city (if it were true). Hate that the numbers are being fiddled by the usual suspects for their own purpose. NW council has been great w community consultation and has always been transparent.
What circle of Hell would that be? Because that's definitely one of them.

There seems to be a concerted, coordinated effort from the White House and various governmental agencies to join Bluesky en masse prior to the "No Kings" protest and flood the zone.

A reminder that the Trump admin is monitoring social media platforms to find excuses to revoke visas:
A couple blocklists for right wing accounts have been hidden by Bsky already, so...

I've received an 'exclusive' invite to try Nature's new 'research assistant', which will burn down a forest to provide a 'summary of the paper' I'm reading and I have SUCH exciting news for them, that's called an 'abstract' and the actual authors already wrote it for me, no forest-burning required.
Right? I put up with some of his nonsense, because, well...look at him.
A friend of mine had a coffee table book about him and there was a one page gallery of photos of him at each peak and he started looking progressively wilder eyed as they went on. Oxygen deprivation is no joke.
Clearly very much The World's Most Interesting Man before that beer fellow tried to claim the crown.
I had to do a search out of curiosity. You were not exaggerating!
