It is, and has been for a while, primarily all about our inability to educate enough of us about how disinformation campaigns work.

It's time to reshare The Rules. I had hoped to retire these long ago, but no.

Please share widely. Tell everyone. Let's teach critical thinking again. >>

Lots of it. Has been for years. Not that it matters from an official POV since law is now a (more) flexible concept.

Here's another banger of a coincidence: Bill Barr's OSS spook father was headmaster at Dalton when Jeff was hired.

.. Who were they? Did a U.S. strike kill them? Will more bodies appear on Trinidad’s beaches?”

Instead of buying cheap, disposable products, they should buy higher quality versions that result in the employment of craftspeople. If they buy high-quality items, they create jobs for makers, sellers, and repairers.

Otherwise, these trades could disappear.

Like many things in our lives, the umbrella has gone through a transformation. Technological developments have allowed manufacturers to use thinner nylons and plastic handles. The result is something lighter, but less pleasant to use. Remarkably, price is often still ~$30.

The thing to understand about fascism is that most people you know will be bought off. Bought with promises of peace and stability, bought with business opportunities or paid with actual cash. Most people aren't going to resist. Get used to it and get used to operating in that environment.

San Francisco is one of the safest big cities in America — especially compared to crime in many red states.

Violent crime in Oakland and the greater Bay Area continues to decline year after year.

There's no reason for Trump to send federal agents into California communities.

Here are the companies destroying the east wing of the White House
My question too to my friend who assured me the portraits would be stored in site

Then HCR raised the question as well

Because well
You know
Did anyone spot moving vans outside the White House recently that could have been used to remove precious, historic furniture, mantel pieces, fixtures, chandeliers, lamps, and portraits from the East Wing to safety?

I can't really comprehend how I can pay an additional $2,400 per month on top of our current health care payments - when I work for CJA rates and they haven't paid us since July.

Democratic members:
GIVE NO MERCY to those muthafuckas
It's not just the destruction

It's the realization that he could bulldoze the rest of it and we all are powerless to stop him
Even in the movies, scenes of the White House getting blown up by invading aliens or terrorists feel emotionally unsettling.

It’s the People’s House after all.

So imagine having to witness its destruction in real life…and the culprit is the President.
