I have no idea about my Greek great grandparents.

My Irish grandpa was a super and worked over different jobs over the years. My Italian grandma worked at Lane Bryant in the late 1920s. Then became a homemaker.

My Yia Yia was a homemaker and Papou was a Bungalow Bar man at one point.

Italian great grandpa was a barber and raced bikes. Italian great grandma was a homemaker. Irish great grandpa worked as a steam pipe fitter and helped build the Whitehall Street station in the 1910s. Irish great grandma was a homemaker.

They all were born in the 1800s.

I was watching Game 1 of the 2000 WS earlier and they were describing Mike Stanton's 93 mph fastball as electric and that he was "blowing it by people." I laughed because those hitters would shudder at what is being thrown now.

Happy Anniversary to my left foot. 30 years ago today (early this morning) I broke it running to the bathroom while drunk. I was one of about 10 people on campus walking with crutches that semester but I was more than likely the only one who didn't have a sports injury. 😂
