1) The idea that someone named Heinrich would be okay with this is hilariously on the nose.

2) I, and many people other people I know, have made some big mistakes in our lives, but none of us have Nazi tattoos, or a history as a mercenary who think colonial wars are rad and rape is mostly fine.

yes. it’s just impossible to expect regular people to run for office if we are going to make having nazi tattoos disqualifying. i see no flaws in this logic.

Interesting: During some D.C. Council questioning, City Administrator Kevin Donahue says D.C. is looking at whether it could use cash from the rainy day fund to cover SNAP benefits if the shutdown continues. The benefits cost $25-30 million a month in federal funds.

Trump's USDA says it can’t disburse SNAP benefits on November 1 because of the shutdown.

SNAP is an entitlement program. They could *easily* find the $8 billion.

Meanwhile, they’re sending $40 BILLION to bail out Argentina, screwing American farmers in the process.

I'm always very open about the fact that I received SNAP benefits and Medicaid for a bit after I fled my abusive husband with my little kid in tow. I used it to help me start over in a new state and go back to school to get my BA. I now have a PhD.
SNAP benefits saved my life.

This is my first time REALLY watching Woo pitch in some time. I LOVE how he just takes this big exhale of nervous energy before each pitch, gets his face and body to relax, and then just DEALS. It's like he's been to baseball therapy or something.
