Agree. Machado has put Trinidad in an invidious position with the destroyed boats and were she to ever be elected she will destabilise the entire Caribbean. A terrible decision.

POTUS is openly calling for the jailing of elected officials because they won't do what he wants. They have done nothing wrong. They refuse to cater to his demands, and he wants to punish them for that. This is fascism. Trump is wrong and should be removed from office.

A misguided award of the Nobel Peace Prize. Machado is more right wing than Trump, it seems. The Nobel Committee will regret the decision as they did with Suu Kyi. Would have better gone to someone like Francesca Albanese who really has fought for Gazans and peace.

However I suspect many clinics will be cancelled due to staff sickness and the draconian laying off of staff and failure to correctly recruit doctors. The NHS is a colossal mess at the moment.

People are so unaware of the dangers COVID is still posing. This winter is going to be terrible with frontline NHS workers taken off the UK vaccine schedule. I would advise all those visiting hospitals to keep your mask on.
