Sorry to quote myself. But this is really my problem with most organized religions…it’s where the “truth in all things” stops.

All the religions say “be nice. Do good things. Help where you can.” Over and over and over, like people needed it spelled out.

Like..ok. I remember being a childhood Catholic. I remember exactly how many prayers I said, readings I heard that I zoned out of, right? But mostly because they all say the same fucking thing, which is just be NICE. How many times, how many ways do we need to hear it??
