Hey, Alaska's been hit by a typhoon and no one is talking about it. Indigenous towns are in need of aid. People are missing and the gov't is still shut down.

If any creators here are in affected areas, please drop links for aid.

Even the phrase “rootless cosmopolitan” rings strange in a world dominated by Australian media moguls who live in NY, Apartheid-era Pretorians whose grandparents fled Canada. All these old ghosts of the British Empire.

Republicans could target up to 28 Dem House seats—including these 9 seats if SCOTUS kills the Voting Rights Act—& solidify a vulnerable GOP seat.

Dems might gain just up to 12 seats from new maps.

Not all of these states are likely to redraw, but the GOP effort to rig the House is a major threat

SCOTUS could eviscerate the last pillar of the Voting Rights Act in a case it's hearing right now.

If it does, Southern states could target around 9 Dem seats before 2026, shown in dark red.

That's in addition to many other non-VRA seats the GOP could go after. Dems have fewer options to respond.

I very much hope the CEO of Goya sees this and understands you can never kiss their asses enough that they won’t come for you eventually

Shot in the dark, but saying “we” -everyone who hates America and is being paid by (((Soros))) - don’t really care about “them” (real Murkans) as a way of building esprit de corps, like when a football team says “It’s us against the world “

Appropriating a Black artist gives them an extra thrill

White people’s insistence that other white people—especially the ones exhibiting morally questionable behavior—deserve the benefit of the doubt is going to kill us all.

Many of the older ones were raised believing this already. Standard seatbelts in cars were a major culture war issue in the late ‘70’s
timscurtin.bsky.social
We did this a hundred years ago too. The Indiana Klan existed very cozily next to the Mayflower Society, DAR, Daughters of Confederate Veterans and all the other genealogical societies that existed to show who was REALLY white and who was “ethnic”

Trumps head of operations for the war being waged in Chicago is openly trying to channel the supposedly masculine imagery of the Nazis

Make no mistake these domestic enemies waging war against the states are Nazis.

Bovino is really trying to sell its aesthetic now.

It’s incredible that the VT State Senator wrapped up in this hasn’t resigned yet — every major GOP leader in the state has called for his resignation. Fixing democracy requires restoring shame to public life. And accountability. Lots of accountability. vtdigger.org/2025/10/14/v...

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.
Twitter account: Uncensored @HmanQuotes1945: Official border patrol Facebook page is posting with the banned lyrics of Michael Jackson's song.

A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

I very much take them at their word. I mean, their “elders” and mentors and managers are currently governing like mass death is an important part of the platform.

One thing that’s probably getting overlooked here is: these folks are serious about this stuff.

Thousands of posts from a private Young Republican Telegram chat reveal a culture of casual racism/antisemitism, rape jokes and celebration of Hitler/Nazism.

Yes. The appeal is never having to grow up or accommodate yourself to the needs or interests of others. It is enormously appealing, apparently. And not just to young people.

It truly appears that the desire to say this sort of stuff without being socially ostracized and so on has been a main driver of one side of our politics from the "anti-PC" 1990s all the way through the "anti-woke" / "anti-DEI" present.

A true political juggernaut, this desire certain people have.

JD Vance can dismiss the Young Republicans as a college group chat.

But let's be clear: the group chat includes a State Senator, a Trump Admin official, and multiple Republican staffers — and some of the worst comments came from folks associated with Mike Johnson, Elise Stefanik, and Mike Lawler.
