Absolutely love what @gregpak.net has going on at his NYCC booth (he also has comics but this is great). Booth L-25 in Artist Alley!
Greg Pak’s booth with free photos and a suggested donation for the New York Immigrant Coalition and a zine on How to Report Ice

The Advantage program was a lifeline for New Yorkers like Kasha, a working mom struggling to get out of a shelter and into stable housing.

But when then-Gov. Cuomo slashed funding, homelessness surged.

These are political choices. We can choose differently.

I’m introducing a law today to keep ICE off Rikers. We must protect New Yorkers from modern-day storm troopers.

If Belichick can't last at North Carolina, what chance does our love have?

Too busy securing COBA endorsement with his disgraceful plan to keep Rikers open. Some grim reaper shit by this ghoul. @dreamfornyc.bsky.social

Important thread from @edidin.bsky.social on Cuomo’s pledge to keep Rikers open. Reason # gazillion to support @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social who supports the #CloseRikers campaign. That COBA Cuomo endorsement is coming any minute. #CloseRikers not a slogan, a necessity. @freedomagendany.bsky.social

This place MDC here in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is like something out of a Batman movie. But, it’s real. A real hellhole.

If you'd like to delight in a side-by-side comparison, here's Bari Weiss' reported note to CBS staffers (left) and the one I cooked up on ChatGPT with a quickly dashed-off prompt (right). Looking forward to hearing from you in the days and weeks ahead!

Weird thing where people say “no one could have predicted it” when really what they mean is their political commitments and orientation were such that they ignored everyone who was predicting it

Sorry but “no one could have“ and you having your head stuck up your ass are two different situations

I lived in DC during peak Joe Gibbs mastery. They won Super Bowls with 3 different QB’s and 3 different lead running backs. Never been done and highly unlikely to ever be done again.
