I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

Breaking news: Nearly a quarter of FBI agents across the country are currently reassigned to immigration enforcement.

The large number of reassignments reflect a vast reshaping of the agency and could put other priorities at risk.

a strong case could also be made that if you were confused by why Bill and Ted would cast themselves in WAITING FOR GODOT, you might also not fully understand Bill and Ted

a strong case could be made that in fact, by selecting this play for themselves to star in, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have demonstrated that they understand WAITING FOR GODOT better than anyone else alive

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

So cool that whenever someone asks the president, “did you eat the Lindbergh baby” he’s like, “no but I’d be allowed to, I have the right to, I might do it later”

Democrats should go on TV to say they need to impeach Trump because of the cocaine-fueled pedophilia parties that he holds in the East Room of the White House with his friends in MS-13.

I mean, if he gets to lie shamelessly, why not them?

I’ve been using the OLED for about a year and it’s been great. I’ve been using GeForce Now on it for a few months. It’s been great for the titles that overpower the hardware, but I still want to play “on the deck”.

It is not clear that Mr. Trump’s image can be featured on a coin. An 1866 law enshrined a tradition that only deceased people could appear on U.S. currency to avoid the appearance that America was a monarchy. Trump admin is planning to do it anyway.

i think there is this idea that "well at some point we will all have to use the mind poison so we should make sure our children have an advantage and start them on the mind poison early" like did this happen when cigarettes were invented too

Some parents are letting their kids talk to ChatGPT in the guise of characters. Some are using it to tell bedtime stories or create coloring books.

"My son thinks ChatGPT is the coolest train loving person in the world. The bar is set so high now I am never going to be able to compete with that.”
‘My son genuinely believed it was real’: Parents are letting little kids play with AI. Are they wrong?
Some believe AI can spark their child’s imagination through personalized stories and generative images. Scientists are wary of its affect on creativity

one reason to insist on historically informed political analysis is to avoid the kind of punditry that takes Atlantic articles to be the only relevant context (or an audience that will fall for that)

I simply believe we have to read nonsense like 'the right is against free speech now?' They tried to forbid schools from teaching evolution--make them teach creationism. No sex ed! They tried to get all climate change scientists fired. They censored textbooks. This is only PART of what they did.
