Chiitan has a dream.
I hope that one day the term LGBT will become a thing of the past.
I will continue to spread my message until we live in a world where everyone can love freely and is free from persecution and discrimination.
Until then, let's all support each other🤍

basically the only use case left for steam forums is:
1. check if an 18+ game sold there needs to have an external patch
2. check if --ah dang they're directing to the discord
3. bug/support stuff for devs too small to have off-platform contacts or whose contacts are non-EN (like DLsite devs etc.)

All those posts of devs owning people on the steam forums is more just a case to never have steam forums

Evil horse for evil race for evil game for evil world

(dunno who made this, it was being passed around in slack)
Umamusume version of the Stop Doing Math meme, edited:
Stop Doing Evil Builds
- Uma's are supposed to be friendly
- years of training yet no real-world use found for Wit
- Wanted to avoid getting blocked? we had a tool for that: it was called Power
- "Yes please give me [Wit 2-star spark], Please give me [S+1091 Wit]" -Statements dreamed up by evil wizards

LOOK at what Evil Build mains have been demanding your Respect for all this time, with all the legacies and borrows we built for them
(This is Real Evil, done by Real Trainers):

[screenshot of a nice nature debuffer build with a lot of red skills]

[Tooltip for Mystifying Murmer: Disturb runners directly ahead mid-race (Medium)] captioned ????????????

"Hellow I would like [Red debuff icon] Skills please"

They have played us for absolute fools

BG3 is funny because of how it straddles that weird line between being for turbonerds who would not care if everyone was a 2d painting and being for people whose primary concern is whether their love interests' lips are glistening just right

the fact that it managed to walk that line is astonishing

Part of this is, for better or worse, the conflict of "does it feel worth it to make a bunch of content most people won't see". It's a hard bet on the internet where the answer could be "it weakens the whole game" or the answer could be "you go memetically viral as a game with cool secrets"

IMO this has always been a choice gamedevs have had to make - fidelity vs scale. it's just that the common wisdom tilts heavily towards fidelity these days.

chrono cross on ps1 made a choice when it decided to have 50+ playable party members and what it sacrificed was unique per-char dialogue

I think choice is becoming a victim of technological advances and player expectations. If you choose whether Bob or Jim live in a SNES RPG, you’ve got a different set of pixels and text boxes. Now you‘ve got a new set of voice lines, Hollywood tier animations, etc.

Thinking about it, the original Deus Ex may be the king of choice in a game with a story, because your choices are significant, linked to gameplay and unforced. From the very start, for instance, whether you use or avoid lethal force against the “terrorists” determines something about you.

Delta from Words Worth has some Rule34, to the surprise of some people, I mean she is from an adult-RPG so it's on the source, but is kinda of a neat character and could always use some more smut, you know.

I heard the visual novels were pretty good, which tracks with the whole trend of side material being better than the core stuff

I'm told the correct procedure here is to close all the forums but one, and make that one forum (which regular people can't post to) contain a locked thread directing users to the community space you can actually control.
Steam's add/edit forums user interface.

One cool feature of Steam is they provide a Harassment Zone for each game you announce. It's a place for people who hate progress to come and crap all over games they haven't even played. No, they won't help you moderate it, but hey, at least you can't delete it!

Horrifically creepy and emblematic of this rape-coded administration, but also a govt employee staying at the fuckin ritz on a business trip shows you how much the DC world has changed since the DOJ muffin scandal of 2011.

"30-year-old conservative lawyer and activist who is Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Special Counsel, which deals with federal employee whistleblower complaints and discrimination" cancelled his colleague's hotel room so she would be forced to stay with him.
www.politico.com/news/2025/10...
In late July, Paul Ingrassia, the White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security, arrived at a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with a lower-ranking female colleague and others from their department. When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn’t have a hotel room.

Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.
