The average American millennial man has been a neocon, a pacifist, a liberal, a libertarian, a communist, a nazi, and I believe now most of us are back around to liberal again. This isn't a defense of platner it's just weird how normal this shit is for guys that age.

Agreed there, but in the context of Halloween costumes it feels an odd inclusion to me. Like, I went as Barack Obama one year and you could see people dressed as Nixon and they'd go "I am not a crook," and it was never a problem before for Halloween. It's just odd these would be an issue now.
