You're right. It's far more like commissioning a piece and giving constant feedback on it, only you're not commissioning it from a PERSON, you're commissioning it from a randomizer that's been fed tons of art from people who didn't give consent.

I may *work* in tech/cybersecurity, but I’m always an artist first.
Both artists and engineers understand constant iteration.
However, comparing using GenAI to working on art for hours on end isn’t a fair comparison.
Physically making art requires creativity, skill, and self-exploration.

Hey maybe online anonymity or pseudonymity is a really big deal and isn’t just an issue for criminals, terrorists and lunatics.
Maybe all the people who have been speaking out against real name policies or ID and age verification on social media and elsewhere online had a really good point.
