The man even gets the meaning of grace wrong. Grace is giving room for people who make errors of judgement or are just unaware of certain things. Giving folks room to grow. If the justice system isn’t one of compassion then it’s worthless.

Yes, I remember reading that crimes like domestic violence and sexual assault of women are treated very lightly if at all in Russia. It’s already not much better here and this trend seems to be designed to make aggression towards women pretty much legal. Gotta keep aligned our overlords.
