Results from Brazil on fare free transit. While it did increase public transportation trips, the substitution was mostly changing walking to transit rather than car to transit.

I’m very confused what actually happened here, but when they make a movie about this, it should be a signed int and getting too many speeding tickets would result in a large negative balance that causes the system to automatically send the driver a check for 2 billion dollars

No Avi, that Perseverance Navcam picture you posted isn't showing 3I/Atlas, it's just Phobos, the brighter one of Mars' moons.

If you were even half the expert you think you are, this possibility should have been quite obvious and worth mentioning.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

Yesterday I went to an East Bay Regional Parks board study session to encourage them to take a proactive leadership role in getting transit into their parks.

The nearest bus stop is over 1.5mi – the best way to get there was a 7mi bike ride from the nearest BART station.

This is a recurring theme today. While I was grabbing beer(s) off the Western Blue Line stop (northern) around 5:30 today, I heard horns honking and whistles blowing. Looked up to see bikes and cars chasing what I assume were feds west, people shouting "La Migra!" as they passed.
