I met an ICE agent yesterday.

He lives in my neighborhood (I didn't know).

He told me my accent "could be an issue" if I were stopped.

I told him that "brown shirt looks good on you" (he was wearing a military-style t-shirt).

He didn't get the reference.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

Pritzker must create an anti-ICE state agency; its only purpose would be to follow the masked federal agitators around and arrest them every time they break state law.

At the very least, this will create paperwork with their names on it.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.
