I don’t agree with every point made here, but the main thesis — what we do with billionaires’ money is secondary to the fact that a free society simply cannot allow them to have it — accounts for most of my politics these days.

No doubt. My main point is marketing spend doesn't always translate to success, there is so much more to it than just using a money cannon on influencers.

Yep, my main point is just throwing money at people without a plan won't work. They must have spent a ton on marketing that game and they just didn't reach the right people at all.

And, as you say, there are several creators covering lander that are big red flags.

Yeah, Lander had a huge spend, including a Becca Scott on Geek and Sundry. You just keep scrolling and there is just more and more creators, it's staggering and it didn't help.

I always look at the lander campaign, that had 20 or so paid content spots from different previewer outlets and dramatically failed to fund.

You can get buzz from actual reviewers, when SU&SD, DT, NPI and some others endorse a game, it makes a difference. But that's almost never at the KS stage.

Lots of people are bullshitters, many of them are successful, AI is a dream for them.

For people who like to actually know what we are talking about, AI is pretty damned useless.

I've now played and beaten all 30 official scenarios for season 1 of final girl.

I am going to write up my thoughts on season 1's locations, killers and final girls, as well as some tips, tactics, and general vibes.

I've really enjoyed the challenge of doing all those plays in 2 weeks.
