King Crimson released their seventh studio album, “Red” on this day in 1974. Guitarist and founding member Robert Fripp would disband King Crimson roughly two weeks before the release of the album.

As Another Green World nears its 50th anniversary, I remember buying it on vinyl, 2nd hand, in 1978 & the joy of getting to know the music. I couldn't stop playing Sombre Reptiles & St Elmo's Fire. Such an influential album. #BrianEno , with amazing solos from #RobertFripp too
