I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Had the worst day ever. I paid a joiner to build me a double bed and he's done a bunk.
It's just one thing on top of another.

Helene, I was wondering if you and Pete would like to come to our little Pentangle Listening Party with Jacqui McShee on Saturday afternoon in Putney? It's a small celebration, thought it would be up your alley xx

UPDATE

We reached our first £500!

I contacted the first school to let them know I was going to send them £500 of books.

They sent me a long list of stuff they want.

I'm posting the books tomorrow.

I LOVE THIS!

Thanks!!

I will try my best! If you have a question for her, let me know. We'll be recording the Q&A from the sound desk, hope to get that online later.

Bluepals, on next Saturday me and Mike Barnes will be at the Half Moon in Putney with Jacqui McShee, chatting about her fave Pentangle album Solomon's Seal - reissued this week via Cherry Red - and having a listen together to the full LP, loud.

Doors are 1p-4pm, tix here tinyurl.com/Pentangle-tix
A photo of some of our event flyers on an orange tiled coffee table (very 70s). The flyers are royal blue with yellow text and feature the cover art to Solomon's Seal, images of Jacqui McShee, myself and Mike in black and white. There's also a Solomon's Seal button badge in the photo. Event details are here: Our Pentangle Listening Party takes place at the Half Moon in Putney from 1pm-4pm and celebrates the remaster and reissue of Pentangle's 1972 album Solomon's Seal, their last LP featuring all original members Jacqui, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Terry Cox and Danny Thompson, who sadly passed away two weeks ago. In 2014, Danny commemorated his 75th birthday at the Half Moon with a week of gigs - he was not short of a guest or two as he's played with pretty much everyone.
We'll have a long chat with Jacqui, share some memories of Danny, then a listen to Cherry Red's remaster in full, loud. After we'll have a mingle to a 1972 playlist put together by Jacqui.
Tickets are £12 in advance and £8 concessions (student, NHS, Blue Light, seniors) and includes a free Solomon's Seal button badge.

Hey Bluepals.

Today I launched a Crowdfunder with the amazing @gracequantock.bsky.social

The aim is to get Grace's book "Living Well with Chronic Illness" into health centres across the UK.

Please share / support this. I'd really appreciate this.

Ta.

I appreciate you asking but I'm not your audience, Sasha. Feel free to break ties with me unless you're following me for updates on Genesis, Yes, King Crimson and the Third Ear Band.
