The only reason Homan replaced Bovino as the face of the occupation is because his lies are more polished and he doesn’t dress like a member of the Third Reich in public. But the policies and the state instigated violence remain unchanged.
CNN: How did we get to a place where we had Bovino having Border Patrol agents stopping citizens in interior of the country, asking them ID, creating fear? Who made the decisions to allow this kind of operation to proceed?

HOMAN: The reason for the massive deployment is bc of the threats & violence

We invaded France and no one will sell us a croissant. It’s very hard on the men.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

An extraordinary document. Read it.

“Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

This Democrat is not "united" behind any of these "reforms".

The only reform we need to to dismantle DHS. Repeal its authorizing legislation. Return all of the agencies that were removed from other departments back to those departments (e.g. USSS to Treasury, INS to Justice). Abolish the rest.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

A retired Minneapolis couple who had guns pointed at them by ICE in a church parking lot.

"They were obviously not trained at all. I've known many police officers in my life. These people were right off the streets."

"They had the professional demeanor of criminals."

If you work at DHS and know the identities of the CBP officers that murdered Alex Pretti, my Signal contact info is in my bio. I’ll keep you anonymous.

I don't know why Dems keep throwing up their hands and saying that they can't reduce funding for ICE because it's part of Trump's mislabeled "Big Beautiful Bill".
Bullshit.
What Congress gave, Congress can take away. All they have to do is pass a bill that directs funding away from ICE and CBP

We should tear down ICE HQ in DC and replace it with a national memorial to everyone killed by ICE since its establishment in 2002.

Wanting reasonable gun safety policy does not "Abolish the 2nd Amendment."

Saying it's okay for the government to publicly execute you for legally carrying a gun, does.

J. Dalton explains why he's citing news articles:
"The Court has taken the highly unusual step of citing news articles throughout this Order. ...
The Government’s woeful, wholesale failure to point to scores of contrary persuasive cases led the Court to look outside the record for context."

Something to keep in mind about Minnesotans protesting unarmed with guns being pointed at them is that they more or less ALL have access to a gun, but are choosing not to bring one.

Bravery isn't holding a gun. Bravery is standing up to other people holding a gun.

One armed goon loses his shit at an observer who's backing up, and then several more armed goons tackle the observer to the ground, and then even more armed goons form a protective shield around the armed goons handcuffing the observer for hurting an armed goon's feelings.

This can't be "reformed"

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.
