I said of the Silent Hill franchise some time back that "sometimes dead is better" and I am so god damn happy to be proven wrong. I had been incredibly cynical towards Konami, not without good reason mind you, but I am so glad and relieved I was proven wrong.

Now that I've seen the true ending of silent hill f, I understand the "bad anime writing" complaints, if you take what happens literally. If you don't read any of the text and construct what's really happening, the scenes of video you see do seem awfully flimsy and melodramatic.
