I just checked the word count on my running list of speculative story ideas and it’s at 19k. 😅

These aren’t even all the ideas I have in my notes app. Many others have gotten their own note doc, for some reason. 🫣

Now to solve the issue of time…🕰️

Managed to split my time between the novel and prepping for a short story revision. Also a quick pass on two stories to resubmit because, oof, rejections. Gets a little sad when you start to run out of markets for a story you love. Maybe I'll get around to that collection someday and put it there. ✌️

I dislike that it’s come to me (and many others) personally reaching out new mags asking about their AI policy re: writing, the selection/editing process, and art. However, it’s nice to get a feel for how the magazine responds and treats these questions, bonus when the website is updated after.
