Actually my partner and I have been super grateful lately that we don’t want kids because in this economy?! We can’t even afford a 2bd apartment!

28 and still haven’t changed my mind! I can’t believe that this is the norm. I think a lot of it comes from parents who feel a little insecure and are defending their choice (or non choice) to have kids. The default should be “you should only have kids if you are completely sure you want them”

I’m planning on rolling back my gpu driver to one a few months old and seeing if that solves it! As for the bios update, I have no idea if that’s possible or safe 😅

All the codes I’ve gotten from event viewer suggest it’s an nvidia driver issue. I really hope it’s not a hardware issue, it’s a brand new laptop and it was expensive 🥲 might have to contact Asus with my warranty if I can’t solve it with an older driver

This is a great idea! It seems to happen super randomly, sometimes while I’m modeling and sometimes while it’s just idling, and sometimes even when I have it closed but still on. I’ll leave it on safe mode and see what happens

This also started after it automatically updated the bios one morning and I really don’t know what to do if that’s the issue. And if it’s a hardware issue….thats even worse. I have no idea how to troubleshoot laptop hardware, especially not a gpu

Hmm so I fixed my Maya crash issue but now my whole computer crashes and restarts 5x a day and the only thing I can determine is that it’s some sort of driver timeout issue but I’m not sure what’s suddenly causing it or how to fix it other than DDU back to an old driver…ugh

PSA to those who live in the US, no matter how disillusioned you may be, vote in local elections and encourage your friends and family to do so. One of the big problems for liberals is low turnout for lower level elections, which puts in people who approve of gerrymandering tactics for the big ones.

It's that time again, folks. I have been told I will be let go from Heart Machine next week. The people there have been amazing friends and coworkers and anyone else who has been affected deserves all the love and support.

Yes!! I like my boring routine and so does my partner so we have to hype each other up to make plans and follow through haha
I really don't think there's anything inherently wrong with us for this though, just the way our brains work! I'd be mentally exhausted if I had plans all the time
