I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

The sick boy in question- he’s got hyperthyroidism (on meds), a heart murmur, an unexplained neurological condition/seizures, dental disease, and just lost 2 lbs with no explanation and he’s only NINE!!! We’ve done all sorts of specialists and tests but no answers on most of it :(

The cat dentist quoted us $5000 for a full dental for our cat what the fuck do we do 💀💀💀 he really needs it but oh my god that’s so much money?!?! And 1800 is just to determine if he’s healthy enough for it which I think he’s probably not!!!

Fun fact! We could be using the $75 billion allocated for ICE on literally anything else! Like essential services that help people exist! It’s almost as if these issues + our priorities have a lot of overlap!

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

My new insurance denied my $1000/month migraine medication that I've taken for 5 years because they want to see me try the other drugs that I've already tried and did nothing before they consider approving the one that gave me my life back.
my new antipsychotic that insurance denied is $1600 a month. it's one of the 5 medications that treat bipolar depression. 5. and i've tried 3 of the others. the 5th? is $1900 a a month
