Just seen someone online asking why on earth ITV are showing It’s A Wonderful Life at 3.40am on Christmas Day morning (or Christmas Eve night)…. I could tell them EXACTLY why it’s being shown at 3.40am, for all of us who will also be following the #DuvetKnowItsChristmas and #JoinIn hashtags
In 1998 I was suicidal. My mental health nurse suggested I watch It’s A Wonderful Life. I don’t know if most people would think it a great idea, but it saved my life. I’ve watched it every single Christmas but one since, many times in cinemas, and it’s saved me over and over. Best movie ever.

Trying to upload my doctors’ letters saying I can’t work yet so my SNAP isn’t cut to 3 months every 3yrs. It’s so new, there isn’t a category on dropdown list for why I’m uploading the documents. I put them under “other” but there wasn’t a box to describe why they’re “other” either 🤞🤞🤞

For the vast majority of people on ACA plans, our needs are simply for health coverage that doesn't suck, and an HCA account with $1000 is not going to "empower" us to "choose" this in the current market.

Haha I was right about Sam saying she’d just found a lump rather than being diagnosed. So weird in this current era to see a character acting IN character! But is her not wanting to see a doctor, just because she doesn’t like them, or is there no lump to be found? #EastEnders

Did Sam just forget Peggy’s DOB? She just tried 310522 on Phil’s safe. Last time Cindy tried to break into his safe, the code was Peggy’s birthday (though I’m pretty sure it was just 4 numbers 2105 then) so should be 210542 not 310522 #EastEnders I’m assuming the implication is Phil’s changed it

If you've ever been to a naturalization ceremony, you know they're filled with people whose palpable love of this country is twenty times stronger than the pinched "patriotism" of any native-born MAGA chud.

I’m a naturalized citizen. My ceremony was during Covid so only doing about 20 of us at a time, we couldn’t have friends or family there, we were masked and distanced, but we’d all worked so hard to get there, it’s not something you take lightly, you SERIOUSLY have to WANT to be a citizen 🧵
