This is what Flooding The Zone looks like.

STAY
FOCUSED
ON
EPSTEIN

Stop giving that one guy attention. He said AND I QUOTE: “It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.”

Let’s honor him the way he’d want. Epstein.

"Compassion fatigue" sounds like weaponized therapy speak when you're using it to describe your general attitude about people living in tents on the sidewalk.

Good morning.

The government is shut down because Trump wants to act like a king and steal from you.

Democrats have no obligation to support a budget that funds the destruction of our democracy - and DOUBLES health premiums to fund a tax cut for billionaires.

Donald Trump SHUT DOWN the government last night.

Why? Because he and Republicans in Congress would rather shut down the whole government than lower your health care costs.

It’s shameful.

This is not a fight about tax credits.

This is a fight over your ability to go to a pharmacy and afford your insulin.

We have the chance to protect the health care of millions of Americans. We need to take it.

Tip of the cap to photojournalist Andrew Harnik, who was at Quantico yesterday and really did Pete Hegseth justice
Photograph of Pete hegseth. His mouth is open in a scream and his his hands are balled together and fists of rage.

The photo caption reads: defense secretary Pete hegseth speaks to senior military leaders and Marine corps base Quantico and Virginia on September 30th. (Andrew Harnik /pool/reuters)

When leaders blur legal definitions and change public-facing names before Congress acts, it sends a signal.

They’re not just rebranding, but testing how far they can bend the system.

It’s not that we don’t know how serious this is. We do. We are terrified and angry and fighting.
We are laughing at these chuckle fucks cause it takes away their power.

We are celebrating that he got away

We all can empathize with him for the terror he felt

Laughing at 🧊’s failure isn’t a bad thing
None of our laughter is at the food delivery guy’s expense
We are all rooting for him 💯

Trump just ordered the military into Portland, and he’s giving them the green light to use lethal force on American citizens.

Authoritarianism is an abstract concept but Trump is making its impacts real and tangible. Let’s be real about it: This is the beginning of dictatorship in America.

Ok I hear you and mostly agree but “any evidence you provide can’t compete with my life’s experience” is sort of the whole problem.

Yes, facts should matter more than feelings. Now, there’s not much for facts re: virtues of white Christian nationalists, but facts > feelings.

ICE has erected a gate to keep protesters out. They are blocking a public street, despite the Broadview Fire Department ordering ICE to tear it down.

Join us at 1930 Beach Street. 7-9 AM. Tell Broadview to tear this fence down.

Even Supreme Court Justice Alito must agree

The Trump administration's censorship of Jimmy Kimmel violates the Constitution

In Matal v. Tam, 582 US 218 (2017) he wrote

"[T]he proudest boast of our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom to express 'the thought that we hate'"

One thing that really breaks my heart: in every introduction I have with people who have complex or “foreign” names, they immediately begin to try making it easier or dumbing it down.

All these people who have worked so hard to learn English and we can’t be bothered to try to learn their names.

I’m so sorry my comment appeared to be about all Albertans rather than just the subset. Every Canadian I’ve ever met and every time I’ve visited, people have been so warm and kind.

I’m just shocked that anyone could look at the state of the US and nod approvingly. I know those people exist but wow.

Omg I was def only referring to the “some” Albertans that are looking at our hellscape and going “yeah, seems good.”

I can super relate to the anxiety about being all lumped together. This was 100% a “some people” comment.
