Thanksgiving wrasslin used to mean something but it was before Bullet Club took us out of smoke filled arenas and bingo halls.
It's so great how AEW brought back big matches on holidays. TK saw the bad ratings every year on Thanksgiving Eve & said, screw it, give em all the graps.

If we ignore 2022 & CM Punk, only Bryan Danielson held the AEW Men's World Title for less than 100 days. Hangman's latest reign was longer than Swerve's.
If every reign is super long it loses its special feeling. Plus, in an even playing field anyone should be beatable at any time…it takes away the surprise if you know they aren’t losing for at least 6 months.
IMO, TK actually books long title reigns way more frequently than he should.
