Man alive. I keep seeing just the absolute worst use of the updated SPC severe weather climatology graphics by meteorologists.

This image really does not support your contention that tornado alley is expanding.

I, for one, am excited to see the return of haze and smog in outdoor photos, as well as the ability to breathe in more fine particulate matter. Great news all around.

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.
Breaking News: The Trump administration repealed the bedrock scientific finding that greenhouse gases threaten human life and well being, meaning that the EPA can no longer regulate them. nyti.ms/4rSszQu

Rocket jumps on the bed and says, "Mmurrh," in my face, which is a half-meow half-grunt noise, and then jumps off. She will repeat this every few minutes if it's after twilight, but she eventually gives up. This is unrelated to the emptiness of her food dish.
Every morning, my cat lets me know she’s hungry by cuddling into my side, purring, and giving approximately 10,000 kisses.

She has not figured out the inherent flaws in her strategy to get me out of bed. And y’all better not tell her.

They are so good at the economy...
We now have data from Trump's first full year in office. Let's review the performance of Trump and the two parties since 1989 and a new age of globalization began.

However you cut the data Trump continues to have worst jobs record of last six Presidents. 1/

How do profits skyrocket if nobody can buy your product because everyone is perpetually out looking for a new job?
Hassett: "There's a chance that job creation lags, productivity skyrockets, profits skyrocket, GDP skyrockets, but then all of the sudden you're making 20 widgets and you can make 20 widgets with fewer persons, and then that person has to find a new job. I think that kind of transition could happen"

It’s really weird for some corners of the media to do a whole “the Epstein files are a moral panic that has gone too far” thing when no one has faced any sort of punishment and doesn’t sound like they’re going to.

It's graphs like this that really make it clear how weird it is to switch between time standards.
Welcome to Solar Spring! ☀️
Solar winter, which is the darkest 3 month period of the year is now behind us! Our sun angle is now up to ~30° above the horizon and climbing quickly.
Right now our daylength is about 10 hours and we are gaining about 2 minutes and 40 seconds of light per day!

They're SO good at the economy...

Here's a graph of the US GPD Annual Growth, color-coded by presidency, and including a four-year rolling average. This, of course, does not show who controlled Congress, or flag any global events that may have affected the trend.

ICE has existed for < 10% of the country's history, created in a tidal wave of Islamophobia.

It has become a siren song for the worst people to come out and attack their fellow citizens under the guise of protection.

"Commonsense reform" would be eradication.

Or you could send a stern letter...
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Just imagining that is sickening.
Federal Judges have a very real and well-established reason to fear doxing and violence and yet I doubt anyone thinks it would be acceptable for them to preside from the bench in a hood.

I had to go to a friend's house for the World Class Track Meet and the Power Pad. Mine only came with the Mario/Duck Hunt cartridge and the Zapper.
Who remembers the power pad you needed to play this?
