I struggle to understand why anyone is shocked that Donald Trump mocked the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife. Trump is a morally bankrupt, narcissistic, corroded orange husk who likes to enrich himself at the expense of other people. This has always been and will always be his way.

Each semester I go in my classroom and I try to figure out what we would use to block the doors, if it would be safe to crawl out the windows, where we could hide if there was a mass shooter in campus. It’s such an indictment of this country how we have normalized these preventable tragedies.

The generational damage to our education system is immeasurable.
The Trump admin now says nursing isn't a professional degree.
The admin plan to redefine what constitutes a professional degree to exclude nursing and limit access to student loans — outraging national health care groups and leaving nursing students questioning how they'll pay for graduate degrees.

Listening to “Possession” by Sarah McLachlan and am always bowled over by how much this song rocks. Her voice, the arrangement, the lyrics - can’t help but listen to it on repeat once I hear it.
