A good question to ask if you think “but why would government officials lie about Covid??” is can you think of any other topics on which they have lied or delayed necessary action? Like AIDS, perhaps. Or climate change. Or weapons of mass destruction. Or the Bay of Tonkin. Or the president’s health.
If you've stopped masking, it's not too late to start again. Remember: the ruling class who help trash our planet with fossil fuels, making pandemics & zoonotic spillover more likely, want us to believe Covid is over

It should click for you how many who ask for mutual aid online are disabled. Disabled people are likely to be in poverty & isolation. Disability makes life under capitalism precarious.
