I know some might be tired of me repeating this, but it bears mentioning again and again....

Trump is not leaving office.

They are going to go for martial law if it looks likely that the GOP will lose the House.

You just have to listen to them.

This thread lists donors who are buying access to Trump by helping him demolish the East Wing of the White House to build his monstrous monument to himself.
#BoycottsArePatriotic
Who are the private donors funding the disgusting demolition of the East Wing of the people's house for Trump's $250M gilded ballroom?

For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.

Decidedly un-Fun Fact: 1,481 UVA graduates served as officers in the Confederate Army. Including Confederate Secretary of State RM Hunter and Dr. Charles Pepper of Dr. Pepper soda fame.

In total about 1/3 of all antebellum UVA graduates served in the Confederate Army.

It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

While we spectate on The East Wing being torn down, it isn’t just another hallway, it’s where Eleanor Roosevelt built the modern Office of the First Lady, where WWII bunkers were hidden, and where the public enters the People’s House. Erasing it is rewriting history.
"Dialogue" with a tyrant...? Gross 🤢
Vanderbilt is not rejecting the Compact on higher education.
A single word "no" would be better than this hogwash.
Vanderbilt response to the Trump ‘compact’ is too clever by half. Dodging the immoral dominance play and pretending it’s a reasoned conversation. Vandy wishes to play ball as an elite institution on a level with MIT, Penn and UVA. Struck out looking.
Vanderbilt has arrived, late to the chat, with this shambles of a response. While technically true, this is a clear abdication of any moral responsibility. They even work in a mention of their commitment to "institutional neutrality" later in the email.
