We’re not running out of shit, corporations are just unwilling to listen/take chances on new things. That’s like saying we’ve run out of movie ideas when we know there are thousands of original scripts annually but studios are scared and want the sure-fire payday of Big Comic Movie 17.

We’re not running out of shit, corporations are just unwilling to listen/take chances on new things. That’s like saying we’ve run out of movie ideas when we know there are thousands of original scripts annually but studios are scared and want the sure-fire payday of Big Comic Movie 17.
88 hours and 100% completion later, I can finally put Hollow Knight: Silksong to rest and go back to pretending like I have a life (spoiler: I don't). A tremendous sequel, heartbreaking and beautiful in equal measure, and only sorta infuriating at times (nothing more so than the Bilewater runback)

I saw Altman speak once (I was there for basketball related reasons) and I couldn’t get over how little value everything he was saying had. He was asked questions and somehow had the most boring, meandering, thoughtless answers. It makes perfect sense he’d use ChatGPT for parenting.

Turns out that running your body (and brain) into the ground while also on and adjusting to a litany of SSRIs and HRT is not that great an idea. Vertigo, mild dissociation, weakness in the legs... I really need to get my head around this whole "feeding and resting the body as it requires" nonsense.
