In US, w/o a diagnosis, prescriptions will be denied coverage. Omicron is producing a huge population of #LongCOVID patients waiting to be diagnosed. Closing of LC clinics is devastating to the community I am a part of. Based on my lived experience, only LC specialists can diagnose Long COVID.
The closing of ~80% of #LongCOVID clinics—which provided services that PCPs couldn’t—due to funding cuts, provider burnout and lack of approved treatments, is leaving ‘millions’ of LC patients to suffer without care. @scienceline.org 🧵 scienceline.org/2026/01/long...

the lack of air filtration in schools is not just a bad idea, people in charge should be held criminally responsible since in most of the world not sending your child to school is a crime and school-borne viruses, especially covid, are causing extreme amounts of damage to children and their families
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

I want to emphasize this.

She regularly pleaded for people - Healthcare workers in _particular_ - to take proper precautions, so that immunocompromised people like her would not _die_.

They did not do this, she died, exactly as she described would happen, again and again.
