I think the impetus for Trump (aka President Stephen Miller) keeping Congress closed has less to do with Epstein and more with no one being in a position to stop him.
"Trump’s autocratic takeover depends on 'complicity, collaboration, and cowardice of congressional Republicans.' The GOP failure to exercise oversight on Trump’s bombings is allowing his consolidation of authoritarian power to balloon exponentially and dangerously."

Trump Boat Bombings Worsen as New Horror Shakes Experts: “Alarm Bells”
Remember the Southern Command admiral who resigned two weeks ago? Hill Republicans haven’t heard from him—and they don’t apparently want to.

When I was in elementary school (St. Patrick’s, Charleston, SC) before Mass was in the vernacular I attended a Latin High Mass (that’s where the entire service is chanted) and it was an incredible experience. I’m neither Catholic nor religious any longer, but some things are timeless.

Men are just too emotional to be President.
The president got his feelings hurt, so we're doing 10% more tariffs on Canada. Joke of an administration.

It should be noted that “flirty AI chatbots” are what they want massive data centers for like the one in #Bessemer Alabama. The noise, pollution, and jacked up electric bills are so people can talk dirty to a robot.

When I see people online, even in jest, suggest that people living in Republican-controlled states should be abandoned because of their politicians, I feel a deep heartache. New York CREATED Donald Trump and none of y’all are ever talk about it the way you disparage Alabama or Mississippi.

Remember this. The Nazis were defeated by geologists and car mechanics and school teachers and milkmen. Ordinary people from all over the world who risked their own lives to put the fascists in the ground where they belong.
the real glory of world war two was that it involved a warrior cult being ground down and beaten to a pulp by people who would rather have been doing something else.
Hegseth: "Maximum lethality -- not tepid legality. Violent effect, not politically correct. We're gonna raise up warriors. Not just defenders."

It's seriously the fault of patriarchy.

People want a (violent, authoritarian) daddy to be in charge and make them feel safe.

And if you sense a theme between this & my thread about men seduced into fascism because they're mad they don't have sex mommies: yup.

Patriarchy is emotionally stunting.
Not sure whose fault it is primarily that most people don't seem to know that the president is basically a manager whose job is to carry out the will of Congress, and not The Country's Boss
This “explicit” is a weird editorial choice. The constitution gives the president no power over this at all. It’s not ambiguous.

Donald Trump did not broker a ceasefire. He said he did. Those are two different things.

President Donald Trump flashed intense anger Tuesday morning as the ceasefire he brokered between Israel and Iran appeared to grow more fragile. The president said he was unhappy in particular with Israel, who he said quickly violated the truce.

Sell off the people’s land to billionaires and wealthy foreign sovereign funds to do with as they please as environmental and land use regulations are slashed. What could go wrong?
Colorado's protected public lands BELONG TO ALL THE PEOPLE of the U.S. and are available for their recreation and enjoyment. The Big Bad Bill being rammed through by the GOP would SELL OFF our protected lands to the highest bidders (billionaires) for the purpose of funding their tax cuts. 1/2
