ERCOT is on track to have ~135 GW of wind, solar and battery storage by 2027!

Incredible!

ERCOT provides about 90% of the electricity in Texas.

Good morning with good news: ERCOT (Texas) solar rose 36X, from 1 GW in 2017 to 36 GW in 2025!

Solar may be ~44 GW in 2026 & ~58 GW in 2027!

Battery capacity surged 15X from ~1 GW in 2021 to ~15 GW in 2025. It may be 24 GW in 2026 and 32 GW in 2027!

WOW!

Difficult to overstate how profound a failure DOGE was. Spending in FY2025 was not only than in FY2024 – but higher than it was projected to be when Trump first took office.*

The little bit of spending DOGE cut has already killed hundreds of thousands and will eventually lead to millions of deaths.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
