What we do won't affect her much; but that's not really the point. Every penny she loses, every criticism of her, every new HP thing that fails: they are a rebuke of transphobia; trans people see it and know people are on their side. It may be a small thing, but it adds up, and it matters.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

A @deck.blue tip I found by accident: If you're a zillion sub-pages deep in a column, you can click-and-hold on the ← button (for a second or so) to return to the top without having to click it a zillion-minus-one times.

Also worth noting that in California, declining to sign means the bill is enacted into law. Newsom could sit on his hands for a week, and it would pass. I would probably include that sort of information if I was writing an article with the purpose of informing my readers.

I've observed that, broadly speaking, the Left cares about what you DO, and the Right cares about what you ARE. (Both do both, but there's a lot of correlation.)

And Leftists care about BEING anti-fascist, pro-Gaza, etc; but, as you say, not actually opposing fascism or supporting Gaza. 💁🏻‍♀️

I vaguely remember that! We had a C64 when I was a kid (like under 10), in the early 1990s, and our uncle gave us a shoebox full of old games for it. I think this was one of them. I remember looking at the manual/book but I probably found it too intimidating to actually try playing.

People who would raze the land were delighted by voters electing Trump — an outcome this attitude of yours helped bring about. So your presence on SM may be doing more harm than good for environmentalism. Touch grass, while there is grass to touch, then speak more of American politics.
