El latón se oxida sólo con mirarlo si no se trata.

Como remate, les aplico una gotita 💧 de resina UV transparente justo en el corazón de latón, que resbala y cubre toda la bolita, protegiéndola de la intemperie. Un poco de fuego para eliminar burbujas y a la luz UV un buen rato.

Si les parece, voy a irles contando cómo florecen unas margaritas 🌼 de #plata en mi taller de #artesanía 😊

Lo primero es preparar el material. Para ello ya he fundido unas "bolitas" que, mediante pasar y repasar por la laminadora, se convierten en unos discos de plata del grosor que busco.

Aquí se ven tres discos de plata listos y con el tamaño y grosor que busco, y otros tres discos a mitad de proceso. Están en mi mesa de joyero, sobre un ladrillo refractario. Esta es mi laminadora, donde he de ir introduciendo los discos de plata una y otra vez hasta conseguir el material tal y como lo necesito. Son dos rodillos regulables que, literalmente, aplastan la plata al pasarla entre ellos.
