it’s about to get very, very hard to be transgender in the united states. likely harder than it’s been in american history. do not let them scare you into backing down. do not give into transphobes framing. stand up to them however you can. it shouldn’t be this way but we have to fight
Cis people, you must HAVE TRANS PEOPLE'S BACK, get resources to help them (money, jobs, shelter, support, contacts), and stand up to transphobic attacks. Doctors, lawyers, people with technical skills, etc. learn about trans people's predicaments and help.

During one refueling (which was "like wrestling with a cobra in a hurricane"), the nozzle came out & and tore a hole in the fabric of a wing. Richey climbed out on the wing & repaired the hole using a curved upholstery needle & heavy thread.
