If I'm honest I prefer drawing in this style. Don't misunderstand I like getting into a rendered piece every once and in awhile, but if I have the choice, something with some rougher edges and more freedom is more fun for me

In the early 90s, Michael began experimenting with digital painting. Rendering was painfully slow on his Mac back then, so he brought in textures through scans of his brushwork.

Reinforced by bands of concrete, the passage becomes weathered and breaks down structurally, exposing a greater view at the top.
