We live in a world where all that is good and beautiful is getting destroyed, suppressed, distorted, and tortured, but we don't even have time to mourn any of it because the relentless rythm of capital chokes us every day. We can't even heal, we can't fucking breathe in front of all this horror...
I'm actually super excited to be diving into more and different non-Tolkien fictional universes, whether high fantasy, sci-fi or whatever!
While I'm a huge fan of Arda/Middle Earth and Tolkien's stories, it has many limitations/flaws AND it's also just refreshing to discover different imagined lore!

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

To be frank if ANY significant progress happens wrt policing in New York I'll be happy for (esp. poor and nonwhite) New Yorkers, but unfortunately there's zero chance of actually defunding the NYPD, let alone abolishing it

In a fully liberated communist society, we would make and enjoy a cinematographic adaptation of The Silmarillion with the kind of incredible artistic care and quality it deserves, i.e. similar to Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy. It could be a dozen films, or a long series.
