One way that the reaction to Rob Reiner's murder mirrors Charlie Kirk's is that the best way to eulogize each of them is to quote their words, and in both cases, doing so pisses off conservatives.

So as you know, I am having surgery next month, and I filed motions for continuances in my cases as a result.
Most of them were granted. Of those, about half gave me less time than I asked for. Three were outright denied.

I don't believe "everything happens for a reason."
But I do choose to believe everything that happens to me & all of my responses, even the very imperfect ones, can teach me something I can use to strengthen & stabilize my trauma recovery.
I'm not wasting this pain.
