The fact is no presenter has ever had to leave the BBC for expressing conservative views, or even explicitly endorsing a right-wing party.

Was never a problem for Jeremy Clarkson. Was never a problem for Andrew Neil. Was never a problem for Alan Sugar

I've cancelled my licence fee direct debit - the law requires I pay it and I expect eventually I shall. But I'll make it as expensive as I can for them to collect. Let me contribute as little as possible to what it costs the BBC to spread its transphobic poison.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Also the most amazing thing happened, Rainbow Rose, the LGBT Labour of Europe has roundly condemned UK Labour’s transphobic action, this is significant in contrast with LGBT Labour’s craven silence.

lots of people in the quote replies dunking on this but it's always worth the reminder that these people are not ordinary folk, this is an orchestrated and well funded attack on a small section of society by ghouls who have nothing else going on in their lives.

I would encourage people in the UK to complain to the BBC about unquestioning platforming a person who uses transphobic slurs on trans healthcare.

If they do not get a satisfactory response, escalate the complaint to Ofcom.

No one can be surprised by the rank hypocrisy of Murdoch's 'Trump is a feminist hero' and 'Ending Roe v Wade was right' Times. But worth noting the difference between when it gets what it wants from the judiciary and when it doesn't.

The Tribunal’s findings on Sex Matters and Forstater are crystal clear:

• Not skilled evidence
• Not expert
• Not impartial
• Not reliable
• Polemic rather than evidence
• Material that could not support findings of fact

So why are UK news media & politicians listening to them!!??

An important point to come out of the Sandie Peggie case is that 'gender critical' employees can't take matters into their own hands and confront trans employees. If they do that it is likely to be harassment/ bullying/ a hate incident.

The BBC could do with this for their own coverage of the Sandy Peggie tribunal 😆

THE PEGGIE JUDGMENT IS OUT + THE RESULT IS NOT HOW MEDIA IS PRESENTING IT

This case doesn’t say employers can’t allow trans women to use women’s changing rooms.

Quite the opposite: FWS doesn’t make that inherently unlawful. It all depends on context.

"Ruby & her parents’ story does need to be told. Because if we don’t hear about their experience, then we push girls like Ruby further into the shadows. I want to tell their story because, as their friend, it has been heartbreaking for me to watch their plight & see the reality of their situation".
Of course they put this behind a pay wall.

“There are moments when I catch myself wishing she would just discover she wants to live as a boy,” says Ruby’s mum, “not because I doubt her identity but because I fear for her future in the UK."

Our media's reporting of trans issues is poisonous, unhinged, a betrayal by those who pretend to report impartially, and shamefully reminiscent of other hate propagandising throughout the last century. I'm surprised to see it in the UK but I need to learn that it is, since Brexit, just who we are.

You know, infuriating and a shameful betrayal though the BBC and other media's misreporting of the Sandie Peggie judgment is, it also doesn't really matter.

What matters is the judgment which lawyers will read, use to advise their clients, and inclusion will be the winner.
