There is no better question right now than “is water really blue?” I’m not joking, the wholesomeness of it, combined with glorious pictures of blue water is. Well. Cleansing.
If you have ever doubted that water really *is* blue, here's a photo of a meltwater pond on a glacier in Greenland. The water is pure, and the white background makes the colour obvious. You need a lot of clean water to see it, but the true colour of water is an incredibly striking brilliant blue.

Wow i have been extemely poorly for two days. Ive only been able to drink sips of water and most of the time asleep. Just woke up clear headed but a bit weak and shaky. Dont know what that was.

So my son is not a programmer, but he is interested in old 8-bit video games, and the other day he taught himself a little bit of Lua in a couple of hours, and made one - maybe Catacomb Abyss? - anyway, then he tried using an AI to generate the same thing, mainly to check his handiwork...

Look at this - an amazing graph if it's true. Prototaxites has a completely different carbon absorption spectrum from all other known forms of life?? (Other points in the graph are from the same early-Devonian shale deposit). Can't judge if this is real but it is from legit published research.

Yes. We used to say these things almost verbatim 'they are stitching up candidate selection', 'he doesn't care about building relationships', but this was fringe extremism until now it's too late to undo the damage, it's mainstream discourse.
Isn’t it fun how we always reliably go from “that is a deranged conspiracy that merely proves you are an intolerable extremist, who must be hounded” to “yes, of course this whole thing was an idiotic stitch-up, so what?” without any of the lads ever having been wrong about anything? Rafa, here.
