Just watched Marty Supreme- I simply don’t get why they didn’t see through the orange ping pong balls - given the final match had them wearing white! Atleast 30 mins too long, and way too much Kevin O’Leary and too little Tyler. Chemistry was meh. Good sound score though.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Just opened up a jigsaw puzzle where the reference picture is slightly different from the original puzzle. There are some cool individual pieces - a bone, a knife, a key. A jigsaw puzzle and Spot the difference in one!

Episode 49: The Millionaire Next Door

In 1996, two marketing professors revealed the characteristics of America's new elite class: They buy the right kind of watch, marry the right kind of wife and were born the right kind of white.

Twinless directed by James Sweeney is a top tier movie. About two people who strike a friendship while grieving their dead twin (or singleton as one called it). Things get complicated as one weaves a web of lies and can’t back out. It is funny, clever and sensitive.

Jigsaw puzzles can be a relaxing and meditative way to spend an afternoon. These are a few of our testers' favorites, including one consisting almost exclusively of edge pieces. nyti.ms/4qtXPEm

!! Horrific. My biggest concern is other agencies taking notes on how to get away with murder. Absolute units of nitwits deserving of the worst paper cuts every minute of their life.

in no way the most important thing but it is incredibly jarring how many times people have opened up their devices in the last year to see autoplay videos of people being killed

Also you’ll should read A Paradise built in Hell by @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social. It is so daunting to start a collective power, but it is small actions that compounds over time. Like the books say, you are your neighbor’s first responder.
You don’t know your role yet maybe, but we are all finding out just what we have to offer.

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

This is my 30th year as a journalist.

But I still continue to be shocked daily at the extent to which these same 'news'papers revel in wilful misinformation in order to relentlessly promote the ideology/interests of their senior editors and owners.

An utter disregard and contempt for their readers

My first Satyajit Ray watch! We don’t slice of life movies these days and the movie scratched that itch. The relationship between son and mother, a young boy breaking from the familial profession and finding his feet is all so relatable, with the exception of using a sundial for time.

I watched yet another fantastic film as part of the month’s theme “movie within a movie”.
Sherlock Jr. is a silent movie (44mjns) about a goofy guy who is studying *hard* to be a detective while working as a movie operator. Excellent film sequences and physical comedy. 🍿 YouTube
