I didn't have much in the way of expectations for those Lego Star Wars shorts, but I ended up thinking they were a ton of fun and brimming with affection for all things Star Wars.
Kudos to Dan Castellaneta, who voiced not one, but two parodies of Jimmy Stewart's character in Rear Window: one for The Simpsons and one for Tiny Toon Adventures. These episodes aired less than two years apart from one another!
Yeeeeahhhh, it's taken on a life of its own, for better and for worse
I've done it! I've finally done it! I've created a meme scientifically designed to ensure that no single generation will get the entire joke!
"Actually Romantic" by Taylor Swift is the best song Everclear never wrote.

(Though the bridge sounds a bit more like The Toadies to me.)

(Yes, I am old.)
What's funny is that Karl Urban came to the closest to doing a straight up impression of DeForrest Kelley, and it still worked like gangbusters. If/when SNW introduces Bones, I'm really curious if they'd try to cast Urban again since he'd still be roughly age appropriate.
I wish I could bottle this expression of pure joy from Michael B. Jordan in Sinners
Director: So in this movie, we need something to symbolize that the President is causing great harm to the nation

Writer: What if we had him just completely wreck a whole wing of the White House

Director: A little too on the nose, don't you think?
This is an actual passage from Paradise Lost, and I think John Milton wants to wish everyone a Happy Pride:

"[T]he crested cock whose clarion sounds the silent hours and th’ other whose gay train adorns him colored with the florid hue of rainbows and starry eyes."
Wife: I've reached the point where I don't know any of the people hosting SNL

Me: Who's hosting next?

Wife: Miles Teller

Me: You know Miles Teller

My Wife: Of Penn and Teller?
Carell was so good in LMS. I should go back and watch that movie again.
The Simpsons has you covered!
The Bun Also Rises

I'm all for leaving room for fans to imagine. But things like Tom's relationship with his dad, Seven's feelings about going back to Earth, how the Maquis would be received were long-running threads. You don't have to tie them all off definitively but we got NOTHING on them! Storytelling malpractice.
See that was part of my problem with the Voyager ending. They set up so much stuff about what it would mean to return home -- how Starfleet would respond to the Maquis and a Borg in the crew, Tom and B'Elanna's relationship with their families, etc. -- that they never paid off! We needed aftermath!
My crazy idea was that, while they had everybody on set for Picard S3, they should reshoot some of those future-set scenes from All Good Things and release an alternate version of the episode. It would never happen, but it'd be fun!

Though if we never got to see Voyager make it home I'd be peeved.
I actually think All Good Things does a really nice job of threading the needle between putting a capstone on the end the show while and nodding toward "the adventure continues." Some of that is the fact that they had a movie in production, but I still like the blend of finality and open endedness.

You can't logic your way out of being burnt out. Unless you're me. Who should be able to do it and it's a personal failing that I can't
To be fair, there's a few highlight episodes for Mayweather, and they're pretty rough. So maybe the writers just threw up their hands at some point. But they also seem to give up on Hoshi at some point too, despite the fact that she got a decent amount of focus early on in a way Mayweather didn't.
I'm so sorry -- wishing solace and peace for you
