The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

“President Trump’s goal is clear. He wants lawyers and law firms to capitulate and cower until there is no one left to oppose his administration in court,” Mr. Elias said. “There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf.”
With New Decree, Trump Threatens Lawyers and Law Firms

This episode is very much worth listening to.
Banias, an 8-year-old in Gaza, tells us about her life––her friends, the games she plays, the things she cares about. Everything but the war going on around her.
The Narrator - This American Life
Banias is an 8-year-old kid living in Gaza. And she has a story to tell — many stories, in fact.

I honestly think people are unwilling to recognize that this Court is outcome determinative and that outcome is determined by Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society.

If you think the Court is beholden to precedent after Dobbs, Bruen, and Bremerton I honestly don’t know what to tell you.
How are people not getting that the court can and will screw people over?

She has stated that it must be "made unsafe" for hospitals to provide trans care, and frequently shares Libs of TikTok posts.

She intends to target trans people in blue states.

The forced deportation of roughly five million U.S. citizen children with undocumented parents would rank among the worst atrocities this country has ever carried out.

It is also wildly illegal, not how anything works, and indicative of Trump’s ignorance to details—so balance any fears accordingly.

“[A] step up the dystopian terror scale.”

I wonder the cost of that nightmare. You know since we supposedly defunded the police and now need to divert $350M of the state budget.
NIGHTMARE FUEL: Denver Police have a new robot dog that can climb stairs, open doors, step over obstacles, and pick itself up if it falls or is pushed over by a civilian fleeing in terror.

You know that feeling of dread in the pit of your stomach. Mine is growing. We don’t have time to despair.

We have to fight this as best we can at the federal level.

We also have to figure out how to protect our students and public schools at the state and local levels.

Who’s in?
Folks, McMahon’s right-wing America First Policy shop is far more leading indicator than anything else.

Trump’s telling all the fringiest idea people in the dark money world to have at it.

McMahon’s job will be babysit and let them do it—just don’t cause trouble for the boss
I had my $$ on M4L’s Justice. But McMahon fits a type:

Her America First Policy Inst is a big dark money billionaire shop.
