Find your closest rally on Saturday and go. You can tell your kids where you were on the other side of this. Outnumber him everywhere.

I said it would get worse very quickly. By tomorrow we will have completed the most dangerous & frightening 24 hours thus far of Trump 2.0. Just to name a few:
1. Defiance of a court order by sending migrants to Sudan without due process (despite clear DP decision SCOTUS) & Dist. CT. order.

Trying to understand whether, why, when, and how to take a public stand? It's scary, and difficulty — particularly the how part. I found @philipncohen.com's recent book extremely useful in this regard, for social scientists and natural scientists alike.

To your question about my supposed fear of change: I am not afraid of change or sociotechnical innovation. What I am afraid of is how change and innovation take place under the conditions set by capitalism and a variety of other oppressive structures which developers refuse to recognize as salient.
