Twitter implemented a new feature last night that displayed the country an account is in. So many of the ‘America First’ accounts were from foreign countries that they had to disable the feature within hours. 🙄

At a certain point a wider use of the term “fossil fuel bribery agents” should replace “fossil fuel lobbyists” to more accurately reflect the transactional content of what “lobbying” means.

Lobbying is the act of meeting a politician in a lobby and bribing them to do something against their voters.

It was clear from the start that Labor didn’t really want to host the CoP climate summit.
