I can see why people are laughing at this, but I can also see how another year of tinkering will make it possible for one of these things to kick a protester after they’ve been tear-gassed

Not spending money on HP-related stuff is a very low bar to clear. You have no excuse for not clearing it, especially if you claim to be a trans ally.
Seriously, do not buy, stream, or otherwise support of promote more Harry Potter bullshit. It is no longer theoretical - Rowling is funelling those wizard bucks into getting the law changed to actively oppress an already-vulnerable minority.
