I like to write poems about stuff like civil unrest, fighting the empire, and binding together as a community and all that because it's the next best thing i can do aside from being there, aside from barely holding together, barely functioning while the work and money dwindles and the walls close in

my friend was maced by ICE agents outside of the coffee shop where I do my homework. she was just standing there filming them and they maced her directly in the eyes and fled the scene. our communities are being terrorized.

Non-protesting dad just trying to hustle his kids, as young as 6mo, out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash-bang INTO HIS car, all 6 kids in the hospital now.

I don't know how to feel about what's happening in Minneapolis right now. It's just constant escalation. Like actual hot civil war is about to start. Realistically, how much longer can they just lie down and take it?
